Product Introduction

MacSync L Odor X1 is an industrial-grade LoRaWAN® qualitative odor monitoring sensor engineered for continuous odor intensity monitoring across smart washrooms, smart cities, sewage treatment plants, chemical factories, waste management facilities, and other odor-sensitive environments. The device intelligently detects and trends overall odor presence, enabling organizations to proactively identify odor spikes, hygiene issues, process abnormalities, and nuisance odor events before they escalate.

Unlike traditional gas detectors that focus only on ppm measurement of individual gases, MacSync L Odor X1 evaluates the combined odor signature and converts it into a simplified odor index / odor level, making odor monitoring practical, scalable, and easy to interpret. This approach is especially useful in applications where human comfort, environmental compliance, hygiene management, or community odor complaints are critical.

Designed for real-world deployments, the sensor combines advanced sensing technology, intelligent signal processing, and ultra-low-power LoRaWAN® communication to deliver reliable long-range monitoring with minimal maintenance. The device continuously tracks odor behavior, helping operators identify recurring odor patterns, ventilation failures, waste accumulation, chemical leaks, or abnormal environmental conditions.

The rugged IP-rated enclosure enables stable operation in harsh indoor and outdoor environments including public toilets, STP & WWTP facilities, waste transfer stations, composting plants, industrial processing zones, and landfill sites. Its wireless LoRaWAN® Class A architecture supports multi-year battery operation, making it ideal for remote and unmanned installations.

MacSync L Odor X1 supports LoRaWAN® v1.0.4, AES-encrypted communication, multiple regional frequency bands, and optional BLE-based local configuration through the Macnman Maya App for rapid deployment and simplified device management.
